Asus has launched a 3G tablet with voice calling (microsim support only) named Fonepad which has a display size of 7 INCH with a resolution of 800 x 1280 Pixels (~216 ppi pixel density), IPS LCD Capacitive Touch Screen, 16 M colours & with Multi Touch upto 10 fingers, dimensions : 196.4 x 120.1 x 10.4 mm and weighs 340 gms (on the display front it looks decent). On the technical front it is loaded with a 1.2 GHz Processor, Intel Atom Z2420 Chipset, PowerVR SGX 540 GPU, 1 GB of RAM (At this price level it is fully loaded). It comes out of the box with Android OS v4.1 (Jelly Bean) (could have given v4.2.2 which is the latest, maybe it will give a update soon). In case of internal memory it has two variants 8/16 GB with a support upto 32 GB microSD. The Primary Camera is of 3.15MP which can click images of resolution 2048 x 1536 P (the sad thing is that there is NO flash light) & can do video recording of 720P. It has a secondary camera of 1.2 MP for video chatting (decent). It comes in two colours Titanium Grey & Champagne Gold. It comes with a non removable Li-ion battery of 4270 mAH (now that is JUMBO).
