Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (IP67 certified) is Monsoon Ready
South Korean Smartphone Giant has added another leaf to its successful Galaxy Series, the latest announcement from the company is Samasung Galaxy S4 Active is a 4G/LTE Phablet which packs a IP67 Certificate. IP67 means that this Phablet has Ingress Protection from dust and it can be dipped upto 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. This Smartphone will be competing with Sony Xperia Z. The S4 Active sports a 5 Inch TFT Capacitive Touch Screen with Multi-touch. It also boasts of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection & TouchWiz UI. The Display resolution is of 1080 x 1920 Pixels, ~441 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Its dimensions are 139.7 x 71.3 x 9.1 mm (5.5 x 2.81 x 0.36 in), weighs 151 gms (5.33 oz) & will be available in 3 colour options Urban Grey, Dive Blue, Orange Flare. On the display front this handset is great now lets foray its technicalities, under its skin it locks a Quad Core 1.9 GHz Krait 300 Processor, Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 Chipset, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB RAM. The Phablet is also loaded well technically keeping in mind the requirement from Gamer & Multi Tasker. The device will come out of the box with Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The internal memory is of 16 GB of which 11.2 GB is user available & there is a support upto 64 GB microSD. The Rear snapper is of 8 MP with LED flash & has excellent features like Dual Shot, Simaltaneous HD video & image recording, geo tagging, touch focus, HDR, Aqua mode, Image stabilization, face & smile detection, dual video recording. It is capable of clicking images of 3264 x 2448 Pixels & video recording of 1080 P @ 30 fps. The Secondary Snapper is of 2 MP which can also record videos of 1080 P @ 30 fps (which will give a great video chatting experience). The Smartphone also packs some of the latest features like NFC, DLNA, microUSB 2.0 (MHL2), USB On-the-go, USB Host, Wifi, Wifi Direct, Wifi HotSpot, Bluetooth v4.0, Infrared Port, GPS with support for A-GPS, GLONASS. The Battery juice is of 2600 mAh.
