LG has announced its latest tablet which is code named as LG Optimus G Pad 8.3 which will be competing with the likes of iPad Mini, Asus Google Nexus 7 (2013). This tablet from the house of South Korean Electronic Giant packs in some great specifications including the 3G voice calling facility. LG Optimus G Pad 8.3 features a 8.3 Inch Capacitive Touch Screen with multi touch. The full HD display looks brilliant as it packs a resolution of 1080 x 1920 Pixels, ~265 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Dimensionally this elegant looking tablet measures 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm (8.54 x 4.98 x 0.33 in), while it weighs 338 gms (11.92 oz) & this tablet is available in two basic flavours viz; Black & White. Just below the skin of LG Optimus G Pad 8.3 it holds a Quadcore 1.7 GHz Krait 300 Processor, Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon 600 Chipset, 2 GB RAM. LG has added some great power in this tablet to make it efficient for multi tasking and gaming. LG Optimus G Pad 8.3 will come out of the box with Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). LG has stacked and internal memory of 16 GB & further a microSD card slot supports upto 64 GB card. For data connectivity LG Optimus G Pad 8.3 holds Wifi, Wifi HotSpot, Bluetooth, Infrared Port, microUSB v2.0. On the positioning aspect this tablet features GPS with support for A GPS. The Primary camera on the rear panel is of 5 MP (minus LED flash light) with auto focus, touch focus, geo tagging, face detection. This primary camera is capable of clicking images of 2592 x 1944 Pixels resolution & record HD videos of 1080 P @ 30 fps. The secondary camera on the front panel is of 1.3 MP which can be used for video chatting also. LG Optimus G Pad 8.3 packs in a non removable Li-ion battery with a juice of 4600 mAh.
