Taiwanese manufacturer has announced the second instalment of its Padfone Infinity and it is codenamed as Asus Padfone Infinity 2 which is expected to hit the shelves in the Q4 of 2013. The selling point of this smartphone is the Padfone Station. As the image below shows that you can slip in your smartphone in a pocket on the rear panel of this Station and thus use your smartphone on the 10.1 Inch Display of this Padfone Station. This station has a display resolution of 1920 x 1200 Pixels, a front camera and a whopping 5000 mAh battery. Dimensionally the Padfone station measures 264.6 x 181.6 x 10.6 mm (10.42 x 7.15 x 0.42 in), while it weighs 532 gms (18.77 oz). Now lets go back to the Asus Padfone Infinity 2, this smartphone is a 4G / LTE smartphone with a support for Single SIM (Nano-SIM). Asus Padfone Infinity 2 sports a 5 Inch Super IPS + LCD Capacitive touch screen with multi touch upto 10 fingers. This smartphone looks very brilliant in a Full HD display which packs in a resolution of 1080 x 1920 Pixels, ~441 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Further Asus Padfone Infinity 2 boasts of a tough front panel with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass (try breaking it, kidding). Dimensionally this smartphone measures 143.5 x 72.8 x 8.9 mm (5.65 x 2.87 x 0.35 in), it weighs 145 gms (5.11 oz) & Asus Padfone Infinity 2 has two flavours viz; Titanium Black, Platinum White. This smartphone looks very elegant on the exterior and is loaded generously in the interior as well. Under the hood Asus Padfone Infinity 2 holds a Quadcore 2.2 GHz Krait 400 Processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Chipset, Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB RAM. On the technicalities Asus has packed in some power to make this smartphone usage a pleasure of multi tasker and gamer. Depending on your requirement you can select from the two variants of the internal memory capacity viz; 16 GB / 32 GB. Asus has further provided in this smartphone a microSD card slot with a support upto 64 GB card & Asus also provides a WebStorage of 50 GB. Asus Padfone Infinity 2 will come out of the box with Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The data connectivity aspect is again generously loaded with Wifi, Wifi Direct, Wifi HotSpot, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, NFC, microUSB v2.0 (MHL), USB Host. For positioning this smartphone features GPS with support for A GPS & GLONASS. Asus Padfone Infinity 2 also features sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass. On the rear panel of this smartphone is a 13 MP primary camera with LED flashlight, autofocus, geo tagging, touch focus, face detection. This primary camera can click images of 4128 x 3096 Pixels resolution and record HD videos of 1080 P @ 30 fps. The secondary camera on the front panel is of 2 MP which can also record HD videos of 1080 P @ 30 fps. Asus Padfone Infinity 2 has a Non-Removable Li-Po battery with a juice of 2400 mAh.
